Take a trip on one of Florida’s newest bike trails that starts at the Rainbow River and crosses over the Withlacoochee River, Dunnellon is a eco-vacationer’s delight! Located at Dunnellon’s Blue Run Park, Dunnellon Trail is 5 mile round-trip excursion will bring you up close and personal to Dunnellon’s phosphate history and the fawn and fauna of the area. Crisscross through tall grass as you pedal or hike towards the winding river. Birds fly overhead and every once in awhile you might share the pathway with a rabbit, a raccoon or even an Egret or Blue Heron as you stop to enjoy the beauty of Dunnellon!
